It's amazing how quickly children grow up and I really notice the difference when I photograph family portraits year to year. The last time I captured the Zuknick Family, baby Luisa was barely able to sit up on her own and this year she was walking and moving all around. Julie was still in middle school and now she is currently attending Bloomingdale High. They boys have gotten so much taller as well and are still quite the gentlemen. I also had the pleasure of photographing the extended family which includes Lissette's sister Yvette and her family. Grandma and Grandpa made it in for some shots too which is such an awesome thing to do because these are memories that were made to last forever.
Just to give you a little background story, Lissette and I are high school buddies. As it happens to most friends, we lose touch with them after graduation and life kinda moves on. Thanks to Facebook, we were able to find each other again (along with some other girl friends) and we are able to share our life experiences again. Lissette is married to Dr. Zuknick, one of the best dentists in town and she works as an Executive Director for the West Coast District Dental Association. Together they will be participating with 300 other dentists, 150 assistants, and 100 hygienists in providing free dental care for those in need. How awesome is that?
